Things to think about

What does this involve?
It involves us explicitly teaching the children the skills and knowledge they need to be safe and secure on the internet.
Children need to understand their rights and responsibilities when using the internet.
They need to know how to behave on the internet.
We need to help children become able to make judgements about things like good practise and strong passwords.
We need to get the children thinking about behaving ethically, about thinking about the decisions they make on line.

What does this mean for us as teachers?
We need to teach the skills.
